Terms of Service
Last updated: September 10, 2026
This document is an informational template and does not constitute legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney for legal matters specific to your jurisdiction.
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and LoomInn ("LoomInn", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using LoomInn (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
2. What the Service is
LoomInn is a platform where builders can share posts, follow each other, collaborate on projects (with tasks, notes, chat, files), and join channel communities. The Service is provided as an evolving product; features may be added, changed, or removed over time.
LoomInn is not a substitute for professional advice. Content posted by users, including any AI-generated summaries, is not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use LoomInn.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account.
- One human, one account. Automated accounts (bots) require explicit written approval from us.
- You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your email address current so we can reach you about security matters.
4. Your content
You own what you post.By posting on LoomInn, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, cache, and distribute your content for the sole purpose of running the Service — for example, showing your post in other users' feeds, search results, email digests, and shareable link previews. This license ends when you delete your content, subject to reasonable time to propagate the deletion through our systems.
You can delete your content at any time. Deleted content is removed from public view immediately and purged from our systems within 30 days, subject to backup rotation and legal retention requirements.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and for ensuring you have the rights to share it.
5. Acceptable use
Don't do any of the following:
- Harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate other users.
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or promotes self-harm.
- Spam the feed, channels, or other users.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, probe, or stress-test the Service without our prior written permission.
- Post malware, phishing links, credential stuffers, or otherwise deceptive content.
- Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or content-moderation decisions.
- Use the Service for commercial offers outside of normal platform behavior (e.g. selling followers, paid-to-post schemes).
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access at our discretion when these rules are broken. Serious violations (including illegal conduct) may be reported to law enforcement.
6. Projects, channels, and collaboration
- Project owners and admins control project content and membership. When you join a project, you agree to respect its rules.
- Channel owners and moderators can remove posts, kick members, and manage membership within their channel.
- You are responsible for not sharing private project or channel content outside that space without permission.
- LoomInn staff have final authority over platform-wide enforcement and can override owner decisions where our policies require it.
7. Reporting and moderation
If you see content that violates these Terms, use the Report action on the post, comment, profile, or channel. You can also email abuse@loominn.com.
We review reports and take action proportionate to the violation. We will not disclose who reported whom. We may respond to valid legal process from competent authorities as required by law.
8. Payments and paid features
The core Service is currently free. If and when we introduce paid features or subscription plans, we will add the specific payment terms here and require you to agree before charging you — the billing cycle, auto-renewal rules, cancellation window, and refund policy will be disclosed at point of purchase.
9. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not currently guarantee any specific level of availability. The Service is provided "as is" and may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Where a change materially removes a feature, we will give reasonable notice when practical.
10. Intellectual property
The LoomInn name, logo, design, UI, and code are our property or the property of our licensors. You may link to LoomInn and reference the Service in normal ways (press, reviews, tutorials), but you may not copy our branding, clone the UI, or create imitation products.
Open-source components of LoomInn, if any, are subject to their own license terms.
11. Third-party services
LoomInn may link to third-party websites, integrate third-party APIs (GitHub, Cloudinary, etc.), or allow you to connect external accounts. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
LoomInn does not verify user content. Any reliance you place on content posted by other users is at your own risk.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoomInn and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and defend LoomInn against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of content you post, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continued service would put other users at risk. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 15 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where LoomInn is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
18. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and LoomInn regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.
- No waiver. A delay or failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver.
